With this goal in mind, Deacon Construction’s experienced and talented tradesmen personally perform almost all of its Framing, Concrete and Finish Carpentry. This assures that we have a full crew available on-site for our management team throughout the project, and their work always meets our standards.

Troy founded Deacon Construction Inc. in 1995. Prior to that he worked in construction management for Koll Construction on such diverse projects as:
A 1,300,000 SqFt former Ford auto assembly plant conversion to retail outlet mall. This project created many environmental challenges from the existing site to comply with today’s standards.
A regional operations center combining office, research and development facilities and warehouse space. Phase 1 includes a 495,000 SqFt, four-story steel frame and glass curtain wall structure supported on a driven pile foundation and full landscaping of the 39 acre site.
A two and three-story wood frame continuing care facility comprised of 175-independent living apartments, 33-assisted living units and an underground parking structure.
A 150-room, wood-frame hotel complex consisting of four buildings, four-stories with central dining and meeting facilities.
A 156,000 SqFt circuit board manufacturing plant with office space. Particle mezzanine, 30’ tall tilt-up panels and three clean rooms.
Two 4-story structural steel buildings, one 3-level post tensioned parking structure and 200,000 SqFt of office space. Project featured curvilinear reflective glass curtain wall and Mexican stone exterior. The site features a 400 foot concrete are wall that sits at a 60 degree angle with three black granite water features.
Prior to his work with Koll Construction, Troy received a B.S. degree in Industrial Technical and Business. While in collage and prior to, he worked as a foreman and framer in both residential and commercial construction. He also enjoyed making custom furniture.
